Waste Tire Recycling

How does it work ?

A complete ZERMA tire recycling system consists of 5 main components.

• The ZTS Pre-shredder shreds the complete tires down to a size of around 150 mm
• The ZTTS Intermediate shredder cuts the tires down to a size of <20mm.
  Pieces of steel wire are separated from the rubber in this step of the process.
• In the GSH Granulator the tires are ground down to a size of approximately 4 mm.
  Depending on the required throughput a two stage system might be used.
• The PM Pulverizers take the rubber down to a powder size of <1 mm.
• Throughout the process, separation equipment is used to remove metal and fibers to ensure a high quality result.
